Bio:

Alfonso Varona’s current research is on contemporary Mexican Theatre written by women. Other interest areas Latin American literature in general, with an emphasis on Mexican prose narrative and cinema. This semester (Spring 2010) he is teaching advanced composition (SPAN 3240 W), two sections of advanced conversation (SPAN 3179) and beginning Spanish II (SPAN 1002).
