Spanish Resource Center
The Spanish Resource Center, at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, has been created to enhance the teaching and study of the Spanish language and culture throughout the State. The Center provides support for teachers, professionals, University students and all those interesested in the knowledge and promotion of the Spanish language and culture.
The Center functions thanks to an agreement signed by the University of Connecticut in Storrs and the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in the United States.
The Center is located at UConn, Storrs, and houses an up-to-date collection of printed, audiovisual and electronic resources for the teaching of Spanish.
The Office of Education provides the Center with the material resources needed for the fulfillment of its objectives.
The Spanish Resource Center is amied to help Spanish teachers, K through College, perform their job with the most appropriate means.
The SRC offers to the teachers working in the state of Connecticut a thorough library of videos, music, books and other printed materials related to Spain and Latin America and to the teaching of Spanish as a foreigh language.
It also provides information of upcoming events, workshops and other useful links.
